PIP Disability Analyst Canterbury

We have an exciting opportunity to train and qualify as a Disability Analyst as part of a successful integrated team.
Your primary role will be to conduct health and disability assessments in line with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) guidelines for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
PIP is designed to help towards some of the extra costs incurred when someone lives with long-term ill health or a disability. This means you’ll be helping people with their PIP case, by understanding the extent to which an individual’s health conditions may impact on their daily life.
You’ll benefit from comprehensive full-time training and full salary from the start, and ongoing CPD support is provided, as is revalidation and renewal of professional body registration.
If you are a fully registered RGN, RMN, RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic with a minimum of 2-years post registration and you hold a full driving license, if you’re looking for a clearer career path to professional growth, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Base Location: Canterbury, plus travel.
Starting salary: £35,000 + benefits + overtime opportunities
Hours: Standard work pattern 9am-5pm Monday to Friday

Atos conducts Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Atos delivers assessments of PIP cases in Scotland, North East England, Yorkshire and Humberside, North West England, South East England, South West England, London and East of England.
The job involves undertaking face-to-face assessments and compiling detailed medical reports, working with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, including physical, sensory, mental health and cognitive issues.
It is a flexible role that requires Health Professionals to both work within a clinical environment and to carry out consultations at claimants’ homes. There will a requirement to work autonomously and skills in report writing would be beneficial.
