Sessional (associate) Registered Medical Practitioner opportunities in Belfast
£fee per case, Domiciliary Visit basis
We are seeking to recruit a Medical Practitioner in Belfast, Northern Ireland for as few as five domiciliary visits per week, to work with our client who provides assessment services throughout the UK. The case load and location of DV work will depend on the home address of successful applicants with opportunities in and around Belfast and Newry.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team who conduct functional assessments on behalf of the UK Government. The purpose of these assessments is to provide an independent view on the ability of the individual being assessed within the wider context of their capacity to work.
It is essential that you hold a full, unconditional registration with the GMC and a valid licence to practice in addition to possessing a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience from a broad range of clinical settings. You will be familiar with the principles of assessment, audit and review with at least three years’ post-registration experience as well as report writing and IT skills. Broad based experience sought, from backgrounds including:
General Practice (GP), GP Locum, Hospital Doctor, Occupational Physician, Psychiatrist, Registrar, A&E Doctor and Senior Consultant.
Successful applicants benefit from a full time training course that is fully remunerated for, in addition to providing valuable professional development. The roles are structured on a fee per case basis allowing you to arrange assessments around current commitments. Appointments may be scheduled daytime or evenings, to suit the Clinician and individual being assessed.
