sjb medical are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the largest independent providers in the UK of rehabilitation services and absence, injury and risk management, delivering a vast range of services including physical, psychological and hospital.
As team manager for this highly respected organisation, will be responsible for the attainment and maintenance of performance for your team, including the clinical quality of the work produced and service delivery requirements of customers. You will plan and control workloads for maximum efficiency, working with the team members to develop their individual capability. You will lead and motivate a team removing, overcoming or presenting solutions to any obstacles that have an adverse effect on performance.
In addition, you will be a member of the Operations Management Team and as such accountable for the delivery of financial targets for your team. You will work with colleagues to collectively deliver the business strategy.
§ Undertake management duties and tasks in accordance with the direction of the operations manager
§ Lead your team members with the management of cases to plan, co-ordinate and monitor implementation of rehabilitation programmes
§ Maintain regular contact with other team managers to discuss service delivery or to discuss and agree any actions for more complex or challenging cases or people matters.
§ Prepare budget, re-forecast and monthly report for your team
§ Attend regular meetings with the other managers, focusing on operational delivery in line with the organisation’s strategy goals
§ Complete quarterly performance plans for all team members
§ Co-ordinate the processing of cases to closure to ensure they are case managed to achieve optimum quality, productivity and profitability. Including report checking and directional file reviews
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
§ Full registration with the NMC or HCPC as a qualified health professional
§ Minimum 4 years clinical experience
§ Minimum 2 years case management experience
§ Solid experience of leading and managing a team
§ Energy and enthusiasm for the role
§ Conduct team meetings and communicate with a range of people confidently and effectively
