Key Responsibilities
· Provide occupational health cover to agency staff
· They would actively support the Company health campaigns within the engagement plan improving staff turnover
· Home visits would support long term sick return to work reducing absence
· They will be able to advise the site on any changes in law / legislation etc, minimising the legal risks to the company
· Food handler assessments
· Advise on preventative healthcare
· The main part of the role is to undertake confined space health assessments and fork lift drivers health assessments and night shift workers assessments
· There will be management referrals and advise regarding capability and rehabilitation


Key Skills

Essential

Qualification:

· Degree in Occupational Health

Experience / Knowledge:

· Forklift Truck medicals
· DSE assessment (The assessment can be done by anyone trained in DSE assessment, but Occupational Health need to be involved if any problems are found)
· Night Worker Medicals · New and Expectant Mothers Risk Assessment (manager and OH)
· Skin surveillance
· Engineers medicals (new starters test for colour blindness)
· LGV medicals (this is done by the drivers GP and certificates kept with managers)
· Vibration White finger
· Lead, Asbestos, Radiation
