Senior Occupational Therapist

Salary: £39,576.32 - £44,476.04 FTE (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time or Part-time (25 hours per week + CPD)

Location: Cheltenham

About the Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll design and deliver personalised interventions that enhance wellbeing and independence. You'll collaborate with families and professionals, manage your own caseload, and mentor others, making every day rewarding and impactful.

About You

You'll bring expertise, empathy, and leadership to everything you do. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing safe, meaningful interventions that promote wellbeing and skill development
  • Collaborating with families and professionals to achieve life-changing outcomes
  • Managing your own caseload with autonomy and accountability
  • Mentoring colleagues and sharing best practice across the team
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with professional standards
  • Championing student-centred care at every step

To succeed, you'll need:

  • BSc in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration (RCOT membership desirable)
  • Experience in paediatrics, neurology, acquired brain injury, or complex disability
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Access to transport and flexibility to travel occasionally
