About the Role

We are looking for a registered Nurse with a background in ICU to work in clinical environments including inside and outside operating the hyperbaric chamber, provide nursing care to NHS and military patients and completing other tasks associated with these roles.

You will also be working closely with Military personnel to provide an on call hyperbaric service to the Navy and the NHS.

This role is 37 hours a week, based at Chichester, West Sussex with occasional travel to other sites for continuing professional development, attending exercises and training. On call duties will require you to live within a 90 minute radius of Chichester.

You'll bring your nursing expertise and passion for patient care to a dynamic, collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering patient-centred nursing care following Company and NHS policy
  • Assessing and monitoring patients before, during and after treatment in the hyperbaric chamber within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Participating in audits, policy writing, developing standard operating procedures and clinical governance
  • Contribute and participate in staff and customer training

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Full NMC registration and a nursing qualification
  • Post graduate qualification in Intensive Care Nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously
